Having sold his first movie ticket at the age of twelve, Andreas Fuchs has over 30 years of experience in theatrical exhibition both in the Europe and the United States. As a consultant and industry analyst, today, he provides research and editorial services to trade publications, Film Journal International (http://bit.ly/FJIcoverage) and Film Echo (www.filmecho.de). His articles have appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Auditoria and Cinema magazines, among others. He is the co-author of Cinema Treasures – A New Look at Classic Movie Theaters (www.cinematreasures.org).
A board member since 1993, Andreas organized the annual MPC Academy Awards Sweepstakes for many years and has edited the Installation Luncheon souvenir program. He worked on the inaugural committees of Club’s Street Fair and has been joining the activities every single year since 1995, except one.
