David started in the industry in 1982 for Orion in Philadelphia as a booker-trainee. He was at Orion for 3 years, then he was hired by Twentieth Century Fox in Philadelphia as the Pittsburgh sales rep. David worked at Fox for 7 years as a sales rep for Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and became the Pittsburgh sales manager. He moved with the company to New York when the Philadelphia office closed. David was hired at Paramount in 1992 where he works presently as the Washington/Cleveland booker/sales manager. He has been a member of the Motion Picture Club for 12 years, and previously held the position of club recording secretary. On October 30th 2003 David became our 36th President of the Motion Picture Club. David’s wife, Polly, works at Universal, his son, Nicholas, attends Bentley College and his father, Max Youngstein, was in the movie business for 50 years.
