The 61st Annual Motion Picture Club Installation Luncheon was held on October 26, 2000 at the NY Marriot Marquis.  We were honored to welcome the distinguished guests pictured to the left.  

Pictured above are Phillip Seymour Hoffmann, Julia Stiles and Motion Picture Club president, John Shahinian.  Phillip Seymour Hoffmann, who received the Star of Tomorrow award last year, presented Julia Stiles with the Star of Tomorrow award.  

Mark Feuerstein is pictured above with John Shahinian.  Alfred Uhry presented Mark with the Star of Tomorrow Award.  Mark Feuerstein made quite an impression on the luncheon attendees with his self-deprecating humor.

Rand Ravitch, director of The Astronaut's Wife presented Charlize Theron with the Star of the Year Award.

Robert Altman, Harry Belafonte and Charlize Theron are pictured above.  Harry Belafonte presented Robert Altman with the Filmmaker of the Year Award.
