The passing of Charles B. Moss Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles B. Moss Jr. ("Charley"), a third-generation entertainment and real estate entrepreneur whose work left a lasting mark on independent film and theater in New York. Charley was a thoughtful leader and generous philanthropist, serving in key roles at numerous organizations, including Variety The Children’s Charity, the American Friends of the Toronto International Film Festival, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and the Moss Family Foundation and was a proud member of several clubs, including the New York Friars Club, City Athletic Club, Maroon Creek Club, the Harvard Club, and the Penn Club.
In 2011, Charley was our MPC honoree at the annual Max Fried Golf Outing for his contributions to the industry and community.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who were impacted by his life and legacy.
